Synopsis. For what they cost me, they are very well made. Interference fit when offered up to the locating recess seemed to be just right with me having to tap the adjuster into place with a piece of soft timber..(I really need to buy a Mallet for these things).

The adjusters move accurately but dont click the same as the Lightechs have been described. So the only real drawback I can see is the actual alignment marks on the black part of the adjusters are covered by the head of the axle pin and the nut on the opposite side. I have adjusted each side equally then nipped up the locknut to 100nm, its no big deal really.

Do I regret buying them...no not at all and I think they will last.. The colour is an excellent match for my rims. So all in all Im pretty happy...

I put a set exactly the same on my RR over 2000 miles ago. Had the wheels off at the weekend and removed them to check them over - no play anywhere, everything exactly as when I put them on - and the adjustment has been very straightforward. I also checked the, for alignment and the markers etched into them were within 0.15mm of each other, which I'd say was close enough. I also tested the adjuster clicks for accuracy, and a '10 click' adjustment on both sides yielded an equal change in position.

For or the money, I'm very happy with mine. They've gone through winter with no corrosion whatsoever despite my lack of cleaning them, they've made chain-love quicker and easier, they look good, and fit well.

I also noticed the issue with the markings being covered, so I took them to my sister (who has a laser cutter in her school department) and she extended the etched markings right to the edge and over it - means it's just visible against the fixed markers when the axle nut and spindle are fitted. Sure, it's a bit more fiddly to see than a Lightech pair, but for the ?100+ saving I can live with that.

They do see load but not much. they will be fine. a lot of people jump on the 'don't buy Chinese' band wagon but I would put some on the race bike no problem.

Yea I think they are spot on. I might carefully scribe an adjustment mark like RR did just to make it a bit easier when adjusting the chain.. let me know how you get on Stephen. I think their bang on for the money.

Stuart, just had a look at the picture and what concerns me is that the nut looks as if it has far too much thread showing. have you just retro fitted for the picture or is that fully fitted.
I am thinking of buying a set too.
