Stuart, just had a look at the picture and what concerns me is that the nut looks as if it has far too much thread showing. have you just retro fitted for the picture or is that fully fitted.
I am thinking of buying a set too.

Looks like he was just test fitting, if you look at my photo the nut is torqued up :)

They look spot on Stuart , and I think they're less of a gamble than brake levers . My mate had Chinese brake levers on his blade and never had an issue. I personally wouldn't on the levers but would on the chain adjusters .

Just to chuck some cold water on your thread Stuart, but only because of my aircraft background and the fact I REALLY wouldn't like a mechanical failure to injury someone I know, please see attached link.
I'm pretty sure you wouldn't want this to happen to you either.

Stealing someone's quote I have the utmost respect for "There's only one way to make a barrel."

Interesting find Jimmy.

Chinese stuff is cheap for good reason. Those Chinese adjusters, ?40?. To do the R&D, purchase of alloy, design, tooling, fabrication, ship to the other side of the world, profit..... there isn't a lot of that ?40 that ends up on the bike.

Why we still talking about this.. torqued up nut equals no movement..will there be any "creep" on the axle who knows but if so on a correctly torqued nut it should be negligible..

I'll just repeat - over 2K miles I've done with mine fitted, and they are in perfect condition with NO damage, NO corrosion, NO slop in the mechanism, and pretty much bang-on accuracy.

They do look good and I hope they last. I wouldn't pay the money for lightech again either, the adjuster nuts on the end corroded on a camping weekend not long after I got them.

I just cant get over how clean all your bikes are - how the hell do you get them so spankingly new looking? Especially around the rear sprocket/wheel ... I have chain grease in many nooks and crannies (on the bike I may add, not personally - the minerals play havoc with my sensitive areas) and even my delicate typist fingers cant get in to those cramped spaces.

Just a "slight" hyjack. I have an underslung rear caliper on my r1. Does anyone know if you can get one for the beamer?
