If you pull out the black locking clip the cover will lift off, you unscrew the locking nuts and the cable can be disconnected, you can either tie rap the cable up behind the frame or disconnect them from the servo located under the back of the petrol tank. do not remove the servo or you will get a fault on the dash. When the bike is serviced they will tell you it has a servo fault as the cables are not connected.

All sortedish. Ended up cutting it off in situ.
Went through 10 hacksaw blades but was alot easier than i thought it would be.
The danmoto clamps both snapped when i tried tightening them so have ordered some more but its all basically ready to go. Glad i didnt pay a garage to do it as its only cost me about ?15 altogether to do it
Old cat weighed in at 6kg

great work snow well done mate, how does it sound? could be tempted to give this a go

Cheers. Doesnt sound too much louder to be honest but deeper if u know what i mean. Will have to see when i next go out. Real happy with how its turned out

Really not sure how you managed to do it with hacksaw blades when the sump extends down between the two pipes - well done though all the same.

"Doesnt sound too much louder" - was night & day for me mate. Bloody loud but I like it. I had a Two Brothers end can. That hardly made any difference to the sound pre or post cat cut off. Cutting the cat off made a load of difference. Mine weighed 7.5kgs. Was off a 2013 bike.

Just 1 pipe at a time with smallish strokes. Really straight forward but abit boring
