Very impressed with the Phillips LED sidelight bulbs . As yet no issues with Gen 3 bike. Can be a bit fiddly to fit but otherwise no dramas.

Fitted the same after using some non-branded ones. Philips are defiantly worth the extra money! Looks great :eagerness:

Fitted a set of these yesterday after your post, and they do look good. Definitely a lot brighter in daylight. Hopefully gets me noticed!

Bit of a pain to fit and requires the skills of a gynaecologist. But worth it in my view.

Yes long nose pliers and they are extremely bright making the original light look like a rin down torch battery. Fit the diamond vision dipped beam to keep the dipped beam the same white light. Its much easier to fit

I fitted these sidelights too after your post. Really good, thanks a lot. Try the x-treme vision +130?s or the shorter life span racing vision +150?s for a really good compromise on the headlights. Not quite as white as the diamond vision but much much better light output for night riding and a really good compromise.

Yes sidelights direct replacement. The dipped beam is Phillips diamond vision also direct replacement. The results are amazing but the dipped beam although like an LED it has less lumens than std but emits higher kelvins 5000 vs 3500 of orignal bulb So if you ride much at night in the country lanes this would be a disadvantage. I have left full beam std. . Pics 1 new dipped beam pic 2 old bulb. Pic 3 new pic 4 old.

cre0108, now that it's been a few months, how are the replacement lights holding up?

Any issues with the replacement halogens melting the housing(s)?
