hi guys ive just got my renewal today last yr it was 460 this yr 1250,no changes and this is from Bemoto whom ive been for yrs,its a bloody rip off,ive just found a quote on line from wicked 427.67,its full com but no extras i dont how good wicked is if you ave a problem,,are you guys having the same trouble, the quotes for a sthou 24 msport and i live in the SW

Insurance is ballistic. 1 reason I've gone back to track only.
The underwriter is the most important thing to check, make sure they are sound.

I'd probably get a few more quotes. Devitts, Bennetts, Carole Nash etc.

try a couple of comparison sites, i had to leave beMoto after being with them for several years as this year the underwriter (axa?) would not cover.

try compare the market, and also The Bike Insurer. I ended up buying a fully comp policy with Hastings.

I also left BeMoto last year for the same reason. Got the BMW insured with Bennetts this time around. Wasn't the very cheapest, but close with extras on top. I always use the Bike Insurer to compare prices

Thanks guys,I've looked on most sites, bennets wanted 600 ,but it did include,B/d,personal injury,leathers/helmet,etc,Carol Nash,Devitts, where similar price to Bemoto,I'm really shocked how much insurance has gone up,they are going to price people of the rd or more people willnt insure their bikes, and just ride uninsured,I only ride from April to October

I was with wicked on a ninja H2 .. 7 years ago . They were good . Bikesure for M1K but quotes are either not coming back or way too high

Wonder if this is RR only, I suspect not, probably applies to all bikes tho obviously a weighting for a bike like the RR. In London you more or less can’t get on street insurance any more, has to be garaged.

BeMoto's new underwriters don't seem to like RRs at all. I have a much newer, more expensive second bike which under their previous underwriter (AXA), was considered the "main bike" in the multi bike policy - quite rightly, it's worth more than double and was doing 5x the mileage. However, since BeMoto's new underwriters came onboard, my RR is now the "main bike" as they see it as a bigger risk, despite doing almost no road miles, being worth less, etc.

KTM 1390 .. £430 .. BMW M1K can’t get insurance 😂 it’s laughable . An S1K or M1K for some reason is being treated like a Range Rover here in the UK

Mmm. Maybe time for track only for these bikes. That’s what I do and still get plenty enjoyment out of my road bikes. Tbh I find the RR too fast for S of England roads but maybe that’s my age..just an accident or a ban waiting to happen.
