In Built Lap timer

Hi all

I dont pick my S1000RR for a few weeks yet, can someone explain to me how the built it lap timer works? it says about green lights to measure your sector times??? does it have a built in GPS???

As I recall you have to purchase an add-on if you want the GPS feature. Otherwise it's a case of pressing the button each lap I think...?

As it comes you have to set it and press it every time you pass start/finish or get a lap timer kit which will do it automatically.
