My names Michael born in Uk and moved all over, currently on the island of Cyprus, I’ve had many many motorcycles and superbikes since I started riding in 1994 and bought my first s1000rr from my mechanic last Friday (Gen 1) which has a freshly rebuilt engine by professionals with the crankshaft from the Gen 2 so I needed to run it in again, unfortunately on the way home which was only 30km away the engine started knocking and this week was a holiday out here so I won’t know what’s up with it until next week.
I was offered my money back on the spot and although I didn’t go over 6k rpm the bike still just felt like the right fit for me and was a pleasure in the curves so I’m going to wait it out and hopefully isn’t as bad as I think.
