Hi, I had my bike up on the stands changing the tyres & I noticed if I pull the brake in the front wheel has some play but not side to side only up & down is this a wheel bearing? I've only done 2800miles from New . I've got a track day on Monday & if it is I dont wanna risk it?

Are you sure it's not movement in the floating (or semi floating) disc, can you feel it when the brake isn't applied?

no I can't feel it when the brakes not applied but there's a slight knock sound when it was off the stand & applied pressure when comppresing the forks .

it felt fine when riding too I only questioned it when a m8 Sat on it & pointed it out . Thought I'd better take the wheel of again as I was doubting I put the wheel back on correctly.

Cheers baz I'll put the wheel back on & keep an eye on it

If you get hold of the disc (cold!) you can move it up and down, as stated that's yr floating disc. You will hear it if you apply the brakes and rock it back and forth.
