Hi, i got this bike for about 5 days now.
Love it so much. I want to look at it every minute, i even want to sleep next to the bike.

Have no experience at motocycle at all, except lessons from driving school with ER6N. This is my first bike.
I don't ride fast. Just like to ride it slow, so people can see have a clear view of it.

Sorry for my english. I'm from Thailand.

Thanks for the post.
Welcome alone - hell of a bike for a first one - please don't do anything crazy till you've got plenty of miles under your belt.

Thanks for the advice.
Fastest speed i did was 150 km/h.
I think that's enough for me.

Welcome aboard. That's the best "first bike" I've heard.

Am i weird?
Don't you guys felt the same?
This is like my dream come true.

The s1krr looks so much better in real than on the internet.

First day i remember, i woke up at 6 am. First thing i did was going to the garage, look at it, touch it and said to my self today i'm gonna have fun.
When i'm near to the garage, i must turn the light on and watch it for 5 second and then go back to my house. Lol.

At first i wanted a used R6. But it doesn't has ABS and the safety features.
Then i saw a 959, i loved it but i love more sounds of a 4-cylinder engines.

Finally the R1 and S1K were left to choose.
For these reasons i didn't choose for the R1:
- no cruise control
- no down quickshifter
- don't like the sound of crossplane engine
- my motorcycle instructor told me, the R1 is meant for the racetrack. I use my bike only for street.

I know it's expensive, especially for the first bike.
But i want to go for my dream.
I know if i had bought another bike, i will feel sad when i see someone rides s1k in front of me.

Now i got s1k, it's a happy ending. I don't want any bike in the world now.

Sorry for the long story.

Nice one, enjoy your bike. As long as you're happy ride it any way you want.

Am i weird?

Nope you are not weird, whenever I bought a new Bike I used to wake up early and go out to the garage to look at it, I even got up on Saturdays at 5am to go ride with clear roads then again on Sunday.
25 years on Im a little more laid back.

Oh and Welcome to the forum , enjoy your Love affair.
