Hi all
This is my first ever bmw
Been a yamaha man for the last few years
But the new 1000rr really caught my eye and so took the plunge.
Never really liked the look of the odd headlight setup on the earlier models.
Anyway over the moon with the new bike
Still bamboozled by the dash and multitude of settings but getting to grips with it slowly.
Love the heated grips as I am getting arthritis in my hands and the heat helps keep the discomfort at bay.
I'm east yorkshire based so if you see me Scarborough, finber cafe or seaways say hello.

Welcome, I was a Yamaha man but the RR was an itch that had to be scratched and has not disappointed.

Spirited road riding is what I like to do.
And favourite experience on the R1 well it was a 2001 model
So it was keeping up with and in some cases in front of much newer and much more expensive superbikes .
