Gen4 Revised Oil Capacity

Alright lads, BMW have revised the oil capacity for the Gen4. Your owners manual says 4.5 liters with filter, which is 4 liters with filter now.

Do you know why they have done that? It’s not related to this whole clutch oil gallery mod is it? Just curious

Gen3 manual says 3.5l with filter, I can't put more than 3l without an overfill.

Gen3 oil capacities are irrelevant when it comes to the Gen4, no?

The Gen4 manual comes with 4.5 liters and BMW have lowered that to 4 liters and I’ve posted it here so that people that do their own oil changes, know about it.
