Gen 2 display going blank

Has anyone else experienced this
The screen on the right that has the time and mileage
It went blank twice before and i just switched it off and on, on both occasions previously
Its under warranty so took it to bmw and they said they hadn't heard of this issue before
They said they flushed the software

It did it again last night on my way home
This time i got a recording of the screen being blank as im riding

Any ideas what it could be

Sounds like a loose connection somewhere unfortunately.
If everything on the dash stays powered on bar that right-hand screen it won?t be the fuse, but could be worth a look as it?s an easy thing to check...

Hmm makes sense
Think these bikes vibrate alot
Its loosed up the screws from the belly pan and fairings
So yeah it could have loosened up a connection

All the connectors are solid and never come undone unless they were not put back on properly.

If it?s only one side of the dash display I would suspect an issue with the instrument panel. Is it still in warranty?

mine had a chaffed wire in the loom near the airbox which caused the clocks to flicker and eventualy pack up completely - not sure if it was the power or the earth - but might be worth a check

Yeah still under warranty
Gona take it round next week
