GB Engine Racing Protection

Just bought myself some GB Racing protection, anyone had any issues after using them, that when they remove to sell the bike they have discovered they have marked the engine casing.

If so has anyone done anything to prevent before installing. Just heard my mate said his engine casing was all marked when he took them off.
