Good man, that's what I'll do with the Dremel, I thought when you said barbs you meant rough spots and I couldn't make out if your throttle assembly was the same as mine, so that's decided.

Think I'll stick with masking tape, I don't want to run the risk of any further damage to that circuit. I've got Renthal adhesive too.

Can I ask is it plenty slippy enough to slide the grip on with relative ease, just so I know before I start.. cheers for the pics and info..

grip glue give you a while to adjust. not sure about the masking tape thing though.

Like a finger up a botty... glues decent and gives you time to position and make final adjustments, good choice of colour for my bike.

That masking tape was superb and made them slightly thicker,? I use two wraps of double sided tape on my clubs.

Heat coming thru fine, might see if theres a filler/shim type thing for either end, sure I seen something on the web somewhere...
