I'm thinking this is going to be my next mod. My dealer is quoting ?15/lever to fit. How easy is it to DIY in terms of all the fuss that surrounds the clutch side micro-switches?

Cheers,

?30 to fit a set of levers!

Do em yourself it's a 10 minute job, if you have a search on here there are a few threads explaining what to look out for

Have you already bought the levers?

I've not bought them yet. I was going to use the online store link you put up in a previous post as the dealer is quoting ?163 per lever or ?293 for the pair with 10% discount.

Cheers for the offer anyway but I'll have a go myself, never learn otherwise and I'm ok with a spanner or torx bits in this case :smile-new:

Well I got them fitted. Easy enough to do and saved myself ?30 in the process. The only thing I didn't have was a Torx small enough to fit the screw to remove the microswitch actuators off the clutch lever. Got by using a jewelers screwdriver. Even took a photo of the set up pre removal.

i had a bugger finding a small enough torx for that as well, had to use a pair of snips to grab hold of it so i could get it out. luckily the new screw was a phillips head so that was easy enough to fit.

I fitted Pazzos to mine which came with a small torx to change it over I damaged the micro switch though which cost me ?35 for a new one.
