Hi as anyone fitted an aftermarket can yet and has it run ok being that you decat the bike when removing the standard can?.
 
That's not technically correct as the cats are in the front pipes!,but I understand what you are saying.As far as I am aware(I'll ask next time I'm in the dealers)there is no remapping carried out when the bmw akrapovic end can and link pipe are fitted.I would imagine the ecu via the lambda sensors would compensate.
However,a dyno tuned pcv would doubtless give better results.
 
slip on can makes no difference to performance or fuelling. Just more noise and a bit less weight. Ecu compensates for the slight flow increase.
 
If you take the bolts out the end the tubes come out and all there is in there is fibrous sound deadening no cat honeycomb
 
From what I can see the standard end can looks a straight through setup.
