Dyno gone wrong???????

Hi guys... I have a 2010 sports versions and have recently had it decatted, dynoed and remapped at a very well known place. I bought it home on a trailer but when I took it out the following day it pops a hell of a lot when I release the throttle and gear down. I understand more fuel is going in but should it be popping so much. When I rung him to query this he said it's because of the short decat pipe and is normal.
Is this normal or should I be worried??

it will do it's unburnt fuel ignighting in the exhaust silencer on overrun, depends how much fuel is geting ignighted you might have to get you silencer re-packed more often then nornal though it might also pop on full power up shifts if you use the standars shift assit, the HM shifter will stop that as it kill the fuel and not the spark
