I've ironed out all the teething problems with the race bike , the TC was a pain but now it's sorted

However on my starts I had bad clutch judder and it was extremely snatchy, before I go and buy new clutch plates has any of you guys had this and is there a known cure for it?

Oil and filter change .... Seriously cured my sticky gear change and clutch judder

It had brand new oil in but it was fully synthetic so I'm wondering if that can cause the judder

Was advised by HM racing who race the bm's and have to say it's probably one of the best mods I've done.
It raises the question yet again, why, is this not correct from BMW off the production line ? Have the part number somewhere if anyone is interested (for the '15)

I take the view that the road bike is designed to a price point. The race teams change lots of parts so why fit them at the factory if they just get binned...

Slipper Clutch

You can purchase an STM slipper clutch through alpha Racing which can be used with the original clutch package. They are also quite easy to source in the UK from the likes of HM Racing and PDQ. It's also worth noting that alpha Racing offer a modified version which is a bit cheaper and is apparently very good.

Some teams have to run 'stock', it must be a right pain. Even on the road it's a pain for a quick standing start...
