Does anyone have the issue where the space bar just will not work on this forum when replying to or creating new messages? I've tried it on windows/mac & linux .. happens on all of them (but oddly, not all the time). Firefox works fine, its just not my default browser (prefer chrome excepting the space bar issue).

Yes, I have the same issues on Chrome, but only now and again. Actually I'm having the self same problem now as I'm typing this! The way I get over this issue, when it arises, is to type the first wood and then type in a full stop. Then I move the space bar? in front of the full stop and carry on typing. I get the gaps between the words every time with the full stop in front of the space bar, if you know what I mean. But you've probably figured that out already??.

I do on chrome/windows only. Have to click on the Aa icon top left. Never investigated why.

Not something I have been aware of before.

After a quick google it is clearly an issue for any vb 4.X.X forums (of which this is one) and chrome. Something to do with the rich text editor and how it is handled by chrome.

Apparently a quick fix for users is to hit the enter key before typing.

Also worth ensuring your chrome is the latest version.

Also if you click on the A/A button it switches the editor to source mode, which chrome works better with as chrome is trying to talk to the site in real time on every keystroke otherwise, any latency and the browser doesn't like it (appparently).

Let me know how you get on.
