Its a corrosion inhibitor, not a chain lube...

I read that some people advised it as chain lube for winter periods.

But good to get clarity.

Not read that myself...it is an oily substance and must be able to withstand some temp. But I am not sure it's good for O/X-ring's.

Would be good to know for sure.

WD40 Lube (summer) and Wax (winter). Their specific chain cleaner is good but I think I'm going back to regular WD40 as it's better for keeping the rust at bay.

Wurth dry lube. Wouldn?t recommend acf on the chain. It will likely fling onto the tyre.

SDOC power cleaning gel & Wurth dry chain lube

I lash some paraffin (a fiver for a gallon at B&Q) on a u shaped brush and give it a good scrub. Little bit more with an old toothbrush if it's especially grubby. Take her round the block to warm the chain up. Wurth dry lube on the rollers, light rag to get rid of any excess.
