Chain lube for track

Gear oil, I always think twice before I commit to saying anything on here! There is so much knowledge on this forum it's scary. 35 years ago I was told to use gear oil? Wurth is decent, but whether it's better than gear oil.........

I assume gear oil flings off, hence a Scottoiler keeps applying it.

Yes, it's only a small amount, however you will possibly need to reapply after 100 miles or so? Scott oiler may be the best option? Remember I don't know very much [emoji23]
