Break calipers

Hi there, was looking at front callipers for the s1000 i no there 100mm fixings but i have been totally confused by the way some have 22.5mm offset an some 30mm offset, I take it there must be a difference but both size are listed for the s1000, does it matter? Don't want to pickup the wrong set, thanks jeff

I've found a sexy nickel pair of gp4-rx but not sure about the offset stuff, would it make any difference ?

Oh yes, the offset denotes where the disc is spaced I.e. the groove in the caliper in cmparison to the mounting holes.

Give me a mo and I'll go and have a measure to see what it looks like.

Wow that could of been a costly mistake, there's a big difference between 22.5 an 30mm,
thanks Dave so it's 30mm that fits the standard s1k.
