Hi folks
has anyone had bother with the little metal rod popping off the swinging arm? I believe it's to do with the electronic damping control which is great if it's connected but mine seems to pop off occasionally ? It does just click back on but this is no good whilst riding. It's also brand new bike. Ant thoughts

I think you are describing the rod for the rear suspension travel sensor for the ddc. Never heard of them coming off before.

I have never experienced any issues with mine and it should be securely fixed in place. If it detaches whilst riding, the bike will probably display 'DDC!' on the dash highlighting a fault. If the problem persists I would certainly get your BMW dealership to check it.

Yes mate mine did that on my 2015 get it back to the dealer they won't admit anything but insist on a replacement.
