As above. The S20 Evo has just been replaced with the S21 Evo that promises better mileage.
I've had some superb results on a couple of sets of S20Rs but only in the dry - my experience of them in the wet and cold isnt that good. Ive broke traction a few times and suspect these are best suited for 'progressive' riding on track or road when warm or you can keep heat in them.

Great tyre, great price but not recommended as all year road tyre ;)

Sport Smart 2s or Pirelli Angel GT.. Had both over 20k in total. Great year round balance, fast heat up, excellent water displacement and last est 5/6k rear / 7k front ( without track days) ... That's my two cents.
If your not doing track days this is what id recommend for cold/wets but if you have a S1kRR why wouldnt you want to get on track with some sticky rubber from time to time?

After a 200 mile ride out in the rain today my original tyres need replacing from the Supercorsas that came with the bike. I won't be using them on track so I'm looking for the best for road use only, which will also handle much better in the wet than my current ones. I am not a progressive rider (working on that) so would be happy with any tyre that gives around 3k plus mileage returns.

Dunlop SportSmart - although if not a progressive rider you should be looking at more like 6-8k from the rear than 3k.

Hi,ive just got my first bmw,s1000rr motorsport,it had 600 miles, now got 1400 miles and has destroyed rear k3,so im going to try dunlop roadsmarts next, these tyres have been ace on my previous bikes.

Just ordered a pair of S21's. Will get them fitted this week, be interesting to see what they are like. I've not had B/stones for years

Got 2700 miles out of my S20's, rear was bald in the centre, S21's supposed to last 36% longer if memory serves me well. Just fitted M7RR's which have a V profile versus the S20's U profile, I can't say I've found that difference night and day although I don't think I'm particularly sensitive to these things, however the metzelers have a noticeably more compliant construction than the bridgestones, I'll be interested to hear how yu get on with the S21's

These GT's are good in the rain! need a little pace to heat up, but looong life so far. rear has 7k and counting. Almost dead in the middle... sides not too bad.. must try harder !

The S1K came with S20Rs - they were pretty good in the wet. Swapped to M7RRs for the second set and I'm not really noticing much difference. Both have given more than enough grip in the dry and never gave me reason to doubt them in the wet. I have Pilot Road 3s on my NC700 and I have to say their wet grip is superb. Even when the M4 turned in to a new expansion for the River Thames I had more grip than I knew what to do with. The only limit is the damn footpegs. Oh and I got to embarass a gixxer on a roundabout. :)
