Hi all, I'm looking to buy myself a gen2 S1000rr and thought this would be the place to look for info and learn what good and bad with them. Hopefully I wont have to look for one for too long!

Hi JJ, all I can say is all good with the Gen 2's. Plenty of choice of low mileage garage Queens around. Buy one and enjoy, hope your not looking too long.

Welcome to the site. +1 on what JimmyMac says. I debated whether to go for an almost new ex demo gen3 or a gen2. Went for low miles gen2 on basis of value for money & cheaper (slightly) insurance. Good luck with the search.
