Thinking of getting the bike done.... heard a lot of good reviews, however, they say they clean the bike thoroughly..... do they take off the fairings to get deep to the heart? ?70 seems a good price considering its gets a good clean and application spray via a compressor so a finer mist.....?

Who with?
ACF-50 is a good product for sure. A couple of can, and maybe some of the grease version on the sump may be all you need though. Not everything corrodes...

Don't think I'd pay ?70 , get the bike out and diy. At least you'd know what had been done.

I guess it depends on how valuable you see your time. As I get older, I'd prefer to pay someone to do stuff I don't like doing. Some people love cleaning their bike tho so ?70 is a lot to them.
Since ACF-50 is quite expensive (was when I bought some a few years ago), that doesn't sound too bad to me.

It's certainly good stuff, as others have suggested I do my own. I found spraying through an air brush worked really well and gave a lovely fine and easily directed mist, that could be sprayed into all the nooks and crannies.

Lookkng at his website I would appear that they don't remove fairings. Looks good value at ?70 if you don't have the facilities, equipment or time to do it yourself.
I like to strip and clean my own bikes as has been said before you know exactly what and how well its been done. It also give the rider a chance to examine bolts, clips and other parts that work loose during riding in order to catch them before they fall off or damage other parts, preventative maintenance saves corrective repairs.

My missus had her CB1000R done at all year round biker. Think she paid ?60 at the time. Was worth it for the clean alone. Extremely thorough and really got into all the nooks and crannies. Her 5 year old bike came back gleaming. The ACF is applied under cover by section so that the mist really covers everything. There's more than one all year round biker though so I'll ask her who it was. Obviously hers was a naked bike though so dunno about fairing removal.

Agree with the above. I believe it is franchised and sold as by bikers for bikers etc. I did look into this last year after seeing a video promoting it on YouTube from More Bikes and reading a write up in MCN or similar, there's a guy local to me but decided just to park it up. As with anything there's some good and bad I guess. There's an interesting video of a review on YouTube of a bad opinion. Interesting because he says he put it on after they decided not to allow his opinion on their own website. There are good reviews too. All said, our opinions are our own, most differ. Personally I'd probably get it done if I used the bike this time of year but I don't bother. I'll probably get some acf50 and strip the bike for a thorough clean at some point over the cold period

Just been looking at 'All Year Bikers' website, sounds like they come round to your house? I think if I was getting it done I'd remove the belly pan and fairing side sections, check it over myself then get 'em in to do their thing.

If I remember rightly the guy local to me was about 15 (ish) miles away and you had to go to him unless you could give him 2 or 3 bikes then he'd come to you. I guess this will be different for the different operators too.
