Probably a numb ass question, but I'll ask anyway. Got a can of ACF 50 in prep for winter; for the engine block, is it a case of spraying in via the vents/holes in the fairing to or do you need to take the fairing panels off? I've never taken off the fairing, how difficult is it?

I wouldn't spray it , its like gunk and **** sticks to it like **** :(
I normally warm it up in a pot and use a brush on the bits that need it.
So I'd take it off , its no big deal and quite self explanatory.
I found a cylinder bolt visibly loose when I first took mine off !!!!
its cheesy peas , give it a go , you'll learn a bit about your bike too.

i used it on mine the week before last, covered the break discs and just sprayed everything.... OMG she was bright white, red n blue and nice and shiny .. but now... :disgust: like fatbob says **** just sticks to it ! the whole bike is now grey with about a million flies all over it. it's probably well protected underneath it all just a bit of a clean up job in the spring (use it for work rain or shine so need to keep her protected over the winter:eagerness:)
