I know a few have these fitted and use the blocks to reduce the steering lock as the sensor gets in the way. Thus making use on the road very limited.

However if the sensor is inverted, then you don't need the steering lock blocks, but you will need to extend the wires by approx 8", cut the wires a few inches from the plug, solder in 3 wires, heat shrink covers and install. When you use the steering lock the piston rod does touch the top of the rad but doesn't put pressure on it and once locked the forks move slightly removing any touching that I can see.

30 mins work and you have fully adjustable front suspension on the road :)
