Interesting. Base price is slightly down. But they've stripped the kit off it.

I checked out the equivalent spec of R to my bike. It is 4k more than what I paid... it might look like more like a Streetfighter, it doesn't have to cost the same

I like the titanium silver. And glad they cleaned up the wing line under the nose. Current one makes it look like an afterthought with the wings.

I feel the wings are too bulky for a series model. I don't disagree that the continuous leading edge looks better integrated, they just seem to add a lot of weight visually.

but, Current one has a reason for the design, just like every major model/make for the current bike they are building/planning. ...theres usually a reason

I love the look of this thing, the throttle is a welcome addition in my opinion. I wonder if the mapping has changed too as I hated the weak bottom end power

It's an inline 4 screamer. They never have masses of torque at the bottom end that's why no one rides them below 4k when making progress. This complaint has no validity. You want instant torque, then yes you want a V4/V2.

That's was my thinking when I bought a 1299S Panigale. Turns out the 1198 was the last torque monster.
