Seen what's purporting to be pics/specs of the 2025 S1000RR online, is there anything official from BMW yet? I was thinking about a new Fireblade early next year, mainly for the Ohlins suspension and perhaps build quality. Unless the new BMW is a decent uprate of the 24 model.

I have not seen anything credible.
I don't believe there will be a drastic update.
I would hope the M would get yearly love, but the S will probably just get paint options. Lets hope the GSA stylers stay the f*** away!

The German mags tend to get spyshots when a new model is in testing.

What have you seen?

Google 2025 S1000RR and pics turn up, I suppose the clue is I've never heard of the posters. I don't know why BMW won't fit Ohlins suspension, and Bembo brakes now, when they're standard on other premium sports bikes. My new late 22 S1000RR cost me around £15500, and I'd have paid an extra couple of grand for the Ohlins kit.

You're not alone in thinking that. Cars have more options around suspension and brakes and yet arguably its less important for them

In other news, Shaun Muir, the boss of the WSBK team, has been talking up changes coming to the MRR for 2025 that are in testing now.

Changes to the base bike could mean that the MRR for 2025 will be updated. Will be interesting to see if that happens, not every change needs a change to the production bike...

That 2025 bike doing the rounds on the internet is only a rendering so not real. I have heard nothing about any substantial revision of the RR and I am scanning the web all the time.

From what I’ve heard it will only be changes to the exhaust to meet the new Euro emissions standard. Very similar to the changes made between the 2015/16 and 2017/18 Gen 3.

The new S1000rr will have face lift and engine upgrade on cylinder head. Mark my words it will be released in November 7-11 I think there will be motor show at that time in Italy where they will release it.

The S will not have a facelift. It will be Euro 5+ compliant.
The M will have revised aero, engine reliability and a few other tweaks

Alex I have heard this too from mate who is Franchise Director at BMW for huge group. he told me new colours and revised emissions and they were told slightly more power.. Who knows but I will hold fire at mo as I was looking to change as silly deals being offered on current model.

From what I’ve heard directly from BMW and the World SBK Team is that the 2025 S1000RR will have a revised exhaust to meet Euro 6 regulations and some colour changes. The 2025 M1000RR will have a revised aero package, the front wings are changing slightly, and some internal changes to the engine and gearbox to address reliability issues found by the race team. The same goes for the exhaust on the M1000RR.

It's been 6 years since the last major revision. I don't expect there to be many more with the whole cessation of ICE most governments are requiring within the next 5 - 10 years. Companies aren't going to invest into a dead end.

My mate just called me they are at BMW conference and the main man of Motorrad has just done update to all the dealers about 2025. He said he see pictures of bike and colours are drasticly different and new adaptive LED headlights he said the headlights are mean looking. He said the Motorsport colour looks amazing. he said the exhaust looks massive compared to current model. This is someone who is not into bikes Lol. But defo new revised edition coming soon.

When I was shopping around about a month ago, only one out of the 3 dealers I spoke to admitted there was something new coming for 2025. They didn't have the spec I wanted, and said there wasn't much left in the UK warehouse. I wonder if what's coming will be restricted like the yank bikes are now.
