2024 S 1000 RR Battery maintenance

My new 24 RR has a lithium battery, are you saying it can sit for 4 months over winter without needing trickle charging?

Mine was sat for 4 months thought I'd charge the battery just to be safe was literally charging 5 minutes before it was fully charged so I'm guessing there ok to sit for long periods

Is it the original battery though.

Yes it was but upgraded it now. Always on a trickle charger now.

Shouldn't leave it on constant charge. Battery needs to cycle in between for conditioning. I turn the charger on at the weekend and let it sit for the rest of the week (tracker and alarm). Never had an issue with it.
