I wore a standard ytz7s, when he died at 5 years old, I put the ytz10s on and I have fewer starting problems and it has never happened to me that when I start the motorcycle the lean angles disappear.

Good pointer ? but why would Yuasa not have the YTZ12S listed as an option for Gen 3 at https://www.yuasa.co.uk/ ?

Because Yuasa's website doesn't list all batteries that fit and work for all vehicles.
