2017 66 plate Pre-Reg or new?

Post is confusing. Bike is a 16 Version (Gen 3 V1) not a 2017 (Gen 3 V2). Essentially it is a last years model with some added goodies. You could get the ABS Pro added if you haggled enough as well!
Both options are good deals. My best ever bargain was a brand new pre reg GSXR1000ZK4, with the gold wheels. Was ?7,200 when the new price was ?8,500 and they gave me ?2,300 on a bike worth ?1,800. Nearly bit their arm off. Pre reg is a new bike without the depreciation hit as you ride away from the dealer!!

I stated Eu3 , my understanding is all these bikes would be a MY16 ( Gen 3 V1). That said, apologies if I caused any confusion.

Check the pre-reg doesn't have ABS Pro - it was factory fit from somewhere around March 2016 so it's either very old stock registered to sell or it has ABS Pro installed.

My '16 plate was a March build and came with it.

I probed further & it turns out the bike was a show bike which had travelled about a bit. It was registered Feb 17, but had actually been build in Feb 16 hence no ABS pro.

I ended up saving a bit more & bought a 66 plate Storm black bike with performance , forged wheels & alarm ( bloody annoying!). The bike has ABS pro.

I intend to use this as a daily, initial impressions after a few hundred miles are very favourable.

Fitting HP rearsets today ( hoping for slightly more legroom - feels cramped compared to my 1299 pani).

Will post up pics when I get a chance.
