2016 chain life - would this be a warranty claim????

This is my first bike with a chain for many years as I've had shaft drive bikes. Mine needs adjusting every 500 miles and I thought that was normal. It is nearly at its maximum adjustment with 4000 miles. I regularly clean it and have a Scotoiler fitted. I look forward to when it finally max's out and I can get a decent one fitted.

I have a Gen 2 model, only had to adjust the chain twice maybe 3 times in nearly 9000 miles. The finish isn't the best but the strength of it seems fine to me.

Same here with the HP4. 12k miles and having just been serviced there was no mention of the chain or sprockets requiring attention. I dry lube spray my chain with wurth stuff after every run out.
