Hi All,
I've just done the deal on my first S1000RR converting from Ducati. Not picking the bike up until the new registrations kick in on the 1st March, can't wait to get my hands on the bike.
Fancy an exhaust system but not sure which system is best any advice appreciated.
Cheers,
PK1

Hi PK1, welcome along. Anticipation is just the best feeling, congrats on the bike. What Ducati and why?

Hi PK, great choice of bike, I have a full Akrapovic on mine but was standard on the bike, De-catted it sings a beautiful tune.

Good luck sleeping on the 28th February.

Hi,
I've gone through a few Ducati's 900ss 996 999 multistrada diavel 998 there all been great bikes.
Still keeping the diavel its a crazy looking bike but amazing to ride.
Also had my share of Jap's
I tried the panigale 1199 & 899 but just didn't feel right and the heat from the engine is unbearable so looked at the rr and it just feels right, can't wait to get my hands on it.

Very nice.

Im with Jimmy Mac on the exhaust. But there are some very tasty cans for the new rr, enjoy shopping.

Hi,
Yes the Akrapovic seems to be the first choice looks great, I need to hear one up close I think, don't suppose any power gain is really relevant at this level!
31 sleeps to go and it's already getting hard to stop thinking about it, hoping the weather breaks in time.

Thanks and will do, I usually jump in but think I'll have a look at a few options this time.
:)

Ryan has recently fitted a full system to his bike in the Showroom section. Weight saving is a few kgs, arguably more midrange torque if it's a full system.

Not sure what happened kto my reply, doesn't seam to have posted. That can looks cool what's the db level?
I went for the same colour as yours

Welcome to the forum, you're going to love the new toy.
I went for an AR exhaust too.
