[FONT=segoe ui, helvetica neue, Helvetica, Roboto, Oxygen, Ubuntu, Cantarell, fira sans, droid sans, sans-serif]2018 Gen 3 23th km , clutch lever having way to much slack, and judder on first gear low revs, (assumed clutch adjustment will fix it) so I've decided to fully adjust the clutch slack to factory specs, and now bike is slipping clutch on 2-3 gear full load arround 8-10rpm. Adjusting clutch to a lot of slack as before and clutch not slipping but I can feel its very hard to get into gears and neutral....Any ideas why it would be slipping if the plates looks good? Measured the plates and they are at 2.75mm almost (techincal specs says its should be at 2.65mm limit? I've inspected the clutch housing and cant see any damages[/FONT]

before throwing a lot of money on new driving dog and clutch basket I have ordered the new friction plates only as the metal discs seems to be fine to me.

outer clutch basket is likely the judder on 1st gear.. likely the rivets/studs are loose and/or cush spring on the back of the clutch basket have compressed
have you got all 3 Y shaped springs on the center of the driving dog installed .. (can't tell from your video)..
did you check the lenght of the clutch springs are in spec ?

Yes all is stock, I just taken clutch cover that's all.
I have measured the spring length and they are at roughly 43mm but I can't find the info on what they should be ..can you advice? pic added https://ibb.co/d0gtQWw

I get mixed messages regarding my video as some say its ok when you try to move and it only moves under considerable strength. its only bad when it moves loosely with no effort needed... anyway I have ordered Barnett Racing Clutch Friction Plate Kit and looking for good second hand driving dog and clutch basket, hopefully this will eliminate my issues of slipping.

Also I have measured the current friction discs comes to 2.6mm roughly. with full stack of discs thickens is 45mm so I'm missing roughly 5mm.

clutch lever needs play in it or it will ,as you are experiencing, slip under load.

you need to find the sweet spot,to much play wiont disengage the clutch pack enough,not enough,will slip

[FONT=&quot]fitted new clutch friction plates and steel discs, (one steel plate was 2.6mm for extra thickness),checked the springs for mm tolerance and its perfect, adjusted clutch cable and push rod as per workshop manual and it still slipping in 4th gear peak only!!![/FONT]
[FONT=&quot]tried to play with the clutch nut adding more freeplay and see if it slips and it does...[/FONT]

[FONT=&quot]however with clutch case cover taken off and pressing on the clutch I can see enough movement in the basket as per workshop manual, also the push rod is easy to turn and has enough slack on the clutch lever...[/FONT]

Do BMW give a stack height ie Overall height of all plates when out of the bike? Being a Dry clutch Ducati owner, many an evening I've spent doing this. You know when you've gone too far in height as the clutch drags. too small a stack height and it'll slip in upper gears peak torque.

I don't have access to my workshop app currently.

Ive triple checked my oil levels, viscosity, clutch play, push rod play with clutch engaged and released etc. and it still slipps 4th gear peak...bizarre...maybe gearing issue?

Good to know... Ducati state a certain stack height but in reality this can vary a lot. So you can add an extra steel ie non friction from your old pack as they rarely wear out next to the first or last steel or in between to increase the stack height. worth a try.

Assuming the springs etc are ok, this may well solve the issue. Remember everything is built to a price and tooling wears. Another quick tip from being a Ducati owner, grease both sides of the clutch cover or any cover gasket, it stops it sticking to either surface but still seals perfectly. When taking it apart again, just undo all the cover screws by about 1mm then gently give the cover a tap all round with a rubber Mallet and it breaks the seal without breaking the gasket. Saves a lot of time and money. A LOT!
