Cheers Loupe Yeah bit of a bummer but I got off lightly if I'm honest - yeah casing is def broken as oil started firing out of it when I started it up again. Could probably fix it and cover with a casing cover but have just decided to bite the bullet and order a new casing ?250 from BMW

Hi all Had a wee incident with my bike last night and now find myself needing a new alternator casing, I'm fine with that but the dealer thinks the bolts used are stretch bolts - does anybody know if this is right ? Thanks

Yeah BMW want ?78 for the full lever set up, not sure if I can bend it back to original shape as not sure what exact shape is, at the moment it is still picking up both micro switches so will just keep l;looking and see if one comes available, good think is that any year will suit the bike.

Hi All, Anybody know where I can get a clutch switch Tang - seems I have managed to bend mine a little when changing the levers, not a serious problem but could affect the assisted gear change if not connecting to the 2 micro switches fully.....so I have been lead to believe. Have to admit...

I paid ?90.00 for the kit from invisible patterns and I have a tinter coming to fit for ?40.00

Yeah would be nice of him but I think his plan is to order a new bike the same as mine for stock but with the pegs and seat instead of the cowl, it will then be a straight swap - he gets the cowl and I get pegs and seat...... In all honesty I will probable get a carbon cowl later anyway
