    exhaust fueling and maps

Im also under the impression that alot of tuners tune for absolute power, and not reliability. letting the AF ratio go too lean in search of more power might make a pretty dyno graph, but for a road bike its a ticking time bomb...

Has PCP financing absolutely screwed the market for premium used bikes?

PCP is pushing the prices up for everyone. when punters think they can afford a 15k bike for 99quid a month, theres nothing to sop the manufacturers putting the price up next year to 17k with the payments still 99quid and slightly lower interest or higher final payment... Soon bikes will be 25k...

S1000rr not going into neutral when hot!

I wondered if changing from 1st to Neutral was deliberately difficult to help prevent full throttle false neutrals.

I think so too. It will satisfy my curiosity and answer the question once and for all.

    exhaust fueling and maps

I don't intend to leave the autotune on all the time. Once the autotune has done its thing and the trims have been accepted, the auto tune can be removed from the bike and I'll have a static map just like you would get from a tuning shop. That's what I want to see a comparison of - static map...

    exhaust fueling and maps

That's what people say, but I have NEVER seen any conclusive comparison between a custom map created by a tuner and a map created by an autotune. The PCV can store two maps. I would love to have a custom map and autotune map so I could switch between the two and ask people to guess which map is...

    exhaust fueling and maps

The way I see it is that the autotune costs about 220quid. a professional dyno tune and pcv setup of custom map is unlikely to be any cheaper... But the custom map is only really good for that day in those (artificial) conditions with those mods to the bike. If you change anything on the bike...

    exhaust fueling and maps

I'll fit the Autotune, generate a map, then take the bike to the dyno place and have them have a go... lets see if they can do better (without secondary fuel module) than the autotune... My Stainless Akrapovic headers already have the bosses for taking two sensors, so no welding required.

    exhaust fueling and maps

Anyone running a Dynojet Autotune? I have one on order. Will be interesting to compare a map created by the autotune with a map created on a dyno...

    Installing Akrapovic Full system

My top tip - Put a bit of cardboard over the inside of the radiator and oil cooler to save you grating your knuckles and to save bending the fins...

    Danmoto Headers...

Worth a punt at that price. Danmoto stuff tends to be good value

    Trackers

Stick a biketrac in a metal box, how's it going to relay it's position in real-time?? It will likely also be using an embedded sim card and relaying on mobile network coverage to transmit location.

Speed with Guy Martin: F1 Special

How was that bike worth 220k? It looked almost stock! And why didn't it do a sub 10second quarter mile?? All rigged to make the F1 car and DC look good in prep for up coming F1 season...

    Trackers

get a TLT2-F from ebay for about 35quid and stick a ?5/month GiffGaff simcard in there. it will send you text messages when the bike is moved etc. and you cand send it texts to see its still where you left it.

    HP4 wheelie control

Sorry, but you have an HP4 and ride everywhere in Sports mode?? - man up dude - select Race mode and dont go back. My 2013 (non-hp4) lets me pin the throttle in Race mode, and so far has always brought the front wheel back down before i've ended up on my back.

Go Pro. Whats the difference? Worth the extra?

I use a Mobius action cam. They are easy to use, easy to modify, the footage is good and they dont cost much.
