My late 22 bike shifts down fine with a little throttle, but with a closed throttle the lever is a bit stiff. Is this something that's simple to sort out?

Has anyone here bought the Akra copy headers from Ali Express? On the yank forum they seem to get good reviews, apart from needing a bit of persuasion to fit. At ?2-300 for stainless, they could be worth a punt.

Interested in a set of Gen 4 headers to decat, must be cheap. Alternatively would consider stainless Arrows headers, bearing in mind they're around ?600 from Italy, so no silly prices for those.

On my Gen 2 I put it in slick mode after the first service, and left it there until I sold the bike 6 years later. On my 22 Gen 4, I thought I'd turned the wheelie control right down, but it still seems to interfere. Does everything have to be turned off?

The fan on my Gen 4 seems to cut in and run more than my Gen 2 did. It seems whenever I stop with the engine running, the fan cuts in within a couple of minutes. Is that a Gen 4 thing?

Seems the Gen 4 seat is higher than my old Gen 2. So has anyone had the foam shaved in their Gen 4 seat, and how much lower can it be made, before it's uncomfortable?

Fancy a dark tint screen for my black bike. Was going for a Puig double bubble, but watched Lamb Chop on youtube, and he reckoned that diverts the airflow from the chest to the lid area. Yes or no?

If I understand correctly, the valve is only there to limit noise. And before it opens, the bike is running on the little moped size pipe up to around 5k rpm. So, any benefits in fixing the valve in the open position?

Anyone fitted these to a Gen 4? There's a retailer near Bedford, though I'm guessing for around ?500 they're imported from China. I'm not expecting Akra build quality for half the price, but I don't want to chuck ?500 at them, if they're flimsy.

I fancy removing some of the metal and weight from the headers, and gaining a little bit more noise. Not bothered about titanium, and I'd like to keep the original silencer. So what are the options, and would BMW take a dim view as the bike is under warranty for the next 3 years.

I fancy some carbon bling for my Gen 4, BMW or similar quality. Not scuffed, cracked or wheels though.
