Selling my BMW tail pack. Fitted a Gen3 but believe it will fit gens 1 and 2 also. Not sure about gen 4/5.
Used but in excellent condition. All zips clips and ties are working and not damaged. All straps for fitting and carry present.

Exactly the fault that started the investigation. Flat battery and poor running.
Can?t find why it failed yet but suspect it?s a gradual degradation.
Found some pattern parts but going to ask BMW cost for a OEM for a laugh.

Cheers . No where near those readings. One phase 6v and the other 2 are about 20v at 4K. Tick over 11v for the 2 and below 5v for the lower. Looks like one coils burnt out. It would explain charging issues

The bike fell off the paddock stand after a ride. The side stand was out and I was only wearing my safety flop flips and best 70?s shorts.
The base of the stand pierced my big toe just under the nail and neatly slid between my toe and nail.

Get an old mountain bike inner tube. Remove sprocket carrier. Cut about 1inch to 1 1/2 inch length of inner tube and stretch over the carrier hub prongs. The bits that fit into the Cush drives. A bit of silicone spray helps to fit and problem solved.

If it?s the thread pitch on the bolt you would identify it after trying different bolts from the new batch. Have you done this?
It the batch of bolts thread was wrong then the same issue would be seen in other holes.
Overlay a new and old bolt the threads should interlock. If they done thread...
A lot of comments about Chinese poor quality is out of date. As is the myth about German engineering being better than everyone else. Poor quality is mostly down to bad companies and cost cutting by the OEMs.
Look at BMW manufacturing quality at the moment.

Yep did it to tick the box. Set DTC to sport if I remember.
It?s wild to say the least. It took me a couple of goes to get the clutch release smooth as they are a bit grabby at the heigh rpms.
