Just wanted to say thank you to everyone who turned up for today's ride, I had a fantastic day and it was an absolute pleasure to meet you all.

Was genuinely apprehensive about today (being my first "group" ride), and the 90 mins sleep last night certainly didn't help matters ... but it was fantastic!
The riding was fast, but safe, albeit the tremendous job that Essex County Council does at resurfacing roads, not!

Special thanks to Phil for organising today and planning such a good route!
Your expert weather routing meant not one spot of rain all day.

If any or all of you are up for another ride in the not too distant future, I'd love to join.

Hope you've all got home safe and sound and enjoy a nice, relaxing Sunday afternoon!

Oli

P.S. Did you guys like the couple rev bombs under the bridge? Think the old chap didn't approve ... lol!
P.S. 2. Thanks to the Audi driver for the heads up on the dynamic duo of cops with the speed gun!

No one crashed!! New forum record!!!

Well Mark tried too...

Ditto everything Oli said.
Thanks to Phil for being a great guide.
Yes the Audi driver is a legend and it was nice of the Red Arrows to put on a show for us!

Sounds like you all had a great ride out today and nobody fell off! Great effort chaps.

Thanks chaps, you were a good bunch to ride with and it was nice to meet you all.
I didn't see the Audi prior to the Police, I knew the 30 limit was there so slowed right up anyway.
Thanks also to Keith (bannanaman) for tai lending on his Kawasaki 1400!

Loved it. Nice to meet you all and definatly wish to do another one, By far the best group ride I've ever done.

Thanks to Oli for setting up my user mode :)
And thanks to Phil for organising it, Please do another!

My pleasure buddy, definitely go through your settings and have a play, that way you'll find "your" ideal setup.

Have fun :)

Well, what can I say? , funny how as you get older, the journey you think you have takes twice as long lol ! 340miles later on the big Z chasing some jack rabbits through the countryside........
Great day lads, good to put names to faces along with the banter !
Had the ol gal bucking a couple of times reminding me I wasn't on Fritz but on the whole was pleasantly surprised.
Thanks for the organisation Phil and Jonah for the entertainment Playing chicken with a t5 was interesting lol !!!

Wicked ride and then went to ride more country roads with my friend, front tyre after the shenanigans, They were boiling to touch and super sticky, will need to change them as the motorway has ruined them i think :x
