My 2012 S1000RR Black

Hi All,

Got a load of mods going on with my S1000RR so thought it might be a nice place to document it .

Firstly bought it in April 2016, was part 30th birthday present from the misses. Love it.

Here's her when I put down deposit.



And this was on the first ride:



I managed to pick up some decat headers from gumtree for a steal.

Since then I got hold of a load of a bulk buy that included a Akra exhaust (a second one), PC5 and a LOAD of carbon (majority BMW carbon).



Here's the carbon fitted (I know the winglets were fitted wrong, I've changed them since but if you look above that's how BMW sold it to me:



I've then picked up some custom radiator guards from 'Racing Radiator Guards'



And now she's in for some cosmetic upgrades. Here's removal of R&G Tail tidy and stock indicators in replacement for motodynamic integrated ones and a Yoshimura tail tidy.



She's going to have the front headlights tinted and HID's fitted, new front rizoma indicators, decat pipe and PC5 fitted next.... Will update when I have pics

What's next on the mod to do list?

Cheers guys. Next on list is carbon rear hugger and swing arm protectors. After that maybe carbon belly pan, rearsets chain adjusters.

ive also just bought the same and year but can't afford all the extras like you. Looking to get a pipe soon but nothing coming up

Here's a couple of update pics. She was in for the decat pipes to be fitted along with K&N Race air filter, PC5, 7x5 Plate, tail tidy and indicators.

Oh and here's her running a bit rich...

Final part of my carbon puzzle arrived.

Looks great mate.i am now near the same as you with mods. Rear gold gillies chain adjusters, smoke screen next.but still unsure on full exhaust system hmm ie loads of hassle remap filter more dyno I don't know yet.
