Wunderlich Sport Tank Bag scuff the tank paint?

Hi all

I want to ask about Wunderlich Sport Tank Bag

does the bag rub or scuff the paint on the tank? Because of the Rubberized material under side of the bag?

Yes it does. I would definitely recommend putting something on to protect the paint in that area

It should stay still. But it can move and drag grit around.

It definitely does, it happened to my HP4.. scuffed the clearcoat... small microfibre towel works perfectly well..

Never scuffed mine on gen 3 or now with the wee bmw bag on the gen 4, but I may just have been lucky

Didn't scuff my Catano Grey s1000r in 3 yrs... I've got a black one now and I'm being a bit more careful with that, as the black finish is more delicate...

Perhaps have some PPF fitted to the tank first and then be worry free.

I used some of that not slip mat, cut it to shape and placed it underneath. Had not issues on my back metallic.
