are early model s1000rr wheels compatible with the 3rd gen models?

Not sure if anyone is bothered about this but i have since found the answer from a reliable source. They are compatible. The spacers and sprocket carrier are different on the 3rd gen to all previous models so those parts are not interchangeable however, the overall width is the same and so earlier wheels will fit with their own spacers ancillaries.

Hope someone else gets benefit from this.

hi buddy, did you need to fit the '10 sprocket carrier? Or is the disc and sprocket carrier from the '15 good to use with the '10 wheels? I'm wanting to buy a set of wheels to get powder coated white for my '15. Cheers

I had a set of wet wheels from my '10 with carrier, but '15 spacers are narrower so had to use the '10 spacers. (my '15 came with lightweights so totally different carrier)
