Hey all , proud new 2012 s1k owner in the south east :friendly_wink:
Had a 2014 Ducati 1199 before and found it too hard to ride on the road, The beemer is so far much better, enjoying the German engineering too!

Welcome along.
Thanks for signing up. Any plans for the year ahead with it?

Thanks guys,

So already changed grips as the previous owner put foam ones on for some reason, I got R&G bar ends on the way and looking at the Comfort seat for a bit more leg room. Other than that got the TT planned for its first big run, need to get some track days booked up now too..... Is there any pros to changing the exhaust if the cat is still in place? I heard that the sound or power wont change unless you remove the cat, any suggestions?

Welcome to the forum and congratulations on your new RR!

Sounds like you?ve got a good Summer ahead on two wheels. Will that be your first trip to the TT?

How long did you have the Ducati for and what were your favourite experiences with it?

Re exhausts, changing the end can / silencer is generally more of an aesthetic thing. If you wanted more power etc then a full system and remap is the way to go.
