I emailed the picture to Metzeler and I received an email back this morning. They said to return the tyre to a nominated tyre company and they will replace the tyre free of charge so they can investigate.....

Great customer service, I presume you told them that it happened on track? Only as it?ll help them decipher what?s happened to the tyre.
