What brand of sprockets?

im changing my chain and sprockets and have decided on did 520zvm-x chain but unsure what brand of sprockets to for?

looking for that isnt going to wear quick, 520 width 16t and 45t

You don't want sprockets yet got a 520 chain on an S1k?

cant find supersprox in 520

have narrowed it down to afam, talon or renthal, these are all around ?50 for front and back. anyone using any of these? thanks

Renthal Sprockets

Highly recommended. The best place to source them from is B&C Express.

All the 3 brands you mention are good, I have used all of them in the past.

I am going to go with AFAM when I replace mine, anyone tried different gearing yet ?

i am thinking of 17/43, standard is 17/45, also, anyone tried a shorter chain to make the wheelbase shorter ?

ive ordered renthal 16/45 and 118 link 520zvm-x chain, should be interesting

Yeah, should be interesting, I am going to the TT on Thursday, so I delayed the sprocket change until I'm back as I don't want higher revs all the way to the ferry (5 hours).

Would be keen to hear what difference the shorter wheelbase makes, it should want to wheelie more.

I am thinking of 16/43 for mine and a shorter chain to match, most probably will go for AFAM.

Please let us know your thoughts after you change yours.
