Wanted.. Brake calipers..

I'm putting up a request for a pair of GP4RX calipers, with z04 pads, or possibly m4 monoblock with the same pads.
A long shot but worth an ask.

Brembo Calipers

The standard calipers on the HP4 are Brembo M4 calipers. Performance wise they are pretty much identical to the OEM S1000RR calipers but race brake pads are so much cheaper. You will probably be fine to fit them as they are homologated so should meet MCRCB SSTK rules. Fitting Brembo GP4-RX calipers may result in a technical infringement.

indeed and just as i thought, 1 x GP bike (TSGB) and 1 x Stocker (BSB & wet), the extra brake effect is obviously a bonus but more so as you state, its all to do with pad prices, zo4 do not come cheap. At 14 sets a year if we save ?50 per set it works out better.

Brembo Calipers

I didn't seen any of the BMW teams using Brembo M4 calipers in British SSTK last season. They all used the OEM calipers that come as standard on the 2015+ S1000RR. It may be worth contacting MSVR directly to confirm whether or not it would be acceptable to use them given that they were homologated on the HP4; a variant of the S1000RR. Using them in TSGB would certainly not be an issue.

I fitted M4's to mine,purely due to pad price.Even on SBS (much cheaper than ZO4) prices I save ?25 a set.

Just guessing,I would question whether M4 calipers are eligible for Stock as they were fitted to HP4 not s1000rr.

Does the hp4 have the m4 with 4x34 mm pistons or 2x30, 2x32?

sound, just for info. got a nice price from MODE.. ?450 - 25% + VAT
that will be for m4 34/34, coming with z01 pads.
but stock caliper pads are 105 + VAT per side
M4 Z04 pads are 63.75 + VAT per side
thats ?80 per weekend saving, minimum on the TSGB calendar alone, which will cover the price of the calipers over the season.
its a no brainer.
And you are all absolutely correct, the Wet TSGB bike will be the BSS bike with stock calipers on and z04 pads in. (keeping the TSGB GP1 bike as a rolling spares package for the BSB weekend)
if it comes off, keep eyes on the sales section for a new set of Z01 pads if anyone has correct fitment.
