Thanks, that is very interesting to see that two thirds sales lost 1200 in 2010 to only 388 in 2014. Quite clearly BMW knew they needed an update after 2012 (?), Sales in 2015 better but still not the best but, I think in 2010 the RR was so far advanced compared to the competition it was a no brainer for the punters at that time (just like me).
Will there ever be another bike again that is so far advanced that Sales will rocket?

When the first S1000RR came out, it was so far ahead of anything else available that those who were vaguely contemplating buying a new sportsbike jumped at it. The same to a lesser extent with the 2015.
