Tyre sports or sports tourer

Just ordered a set of Metzlere Roadtec 01 tyres, I thought I'd give them a try due to the fact that a lot of my riding is done in wet conditions and the best I've hit on my lean angle is 40% so I'm not exactly getting my knee down on a regular basis. I got 4000 out of my stock tyres so I'm also thinking these might last longer. I thought my dealer might query why I was putting a sports touring tyre on a sports bike but they made no comment so I'm guessing they'll be fine.
